After Care for Sewn-in-Weft Hair Extensions:

Here is a quick, brief explanation including tips and recommend products to keep those luscious locks of yours in the best condition!

I highly recommend using the Beauty Works products. Their top quality and allow your hair to stay in the best condition!

Beauty Works Shampoo - Helps maintain healthy hair extensions with the Beauty Works Pearl Nourishing Argan Oil Shampoo, which will leave hair feeling revitalised, full of body and shine.

Beauty Works Conditioner - After shampooing, finish with the Beauty Works Pearl Nourishing Argan Oil Conditioner which has been expertly formulated to nourish, repair and de-tangle all hair types.

Beauty Works Oil - Helps to protect your hair and hair extensions with the Beauty Works Argan serum. Make sure you use it daily to maintain healthy hair and hair extensions. I like to use it on my hair in the morning when I wake up and in the evening just before I go to sleep.

£11.99 each

If you don’t want to pay out for the beauty works range, then there are many other alternatives. However i do recommend using shampoo and conditioner without the ingredient ‘protein’. Argan Oil hair products are also a very good alternative, which I would highly recommend browsing TkMaxx for, as they usually have a wide range of their products for pretty much half the price!

I also recommend using a heat spray when using heat on your hair. I personally like to use GHD’s to avoid my hair from getting damaged and dry.

Make sure you use a tangle teezer hairbrush, as this will allow easy combing to your hair, whilst preventing damage to your hair. When brushing hold the track firmly with your palm then brush from ends up.

Depending on the quality of your hair extensions wash as least a possible, If top quality then aim to wash once a week.Try not to pull your weave back into a pony tail too much or too tightly.Tie in a loose plait or pony before heading of to sleep to avoid tangling.

Only one tightening is recommended as it is kinder to your hair, which should be done 3-5 weeks after having your hair fitted. Avoid rubbing the hair in a rough motion. When towel drying hair is a downwards motion. Leave your hair to dry naturally, as it will give you the best results, as heat will allow your extensions to dry out. Also ensure you use your oil leaving it in your hair when wet.

My everyday essentials..

This Michael Kors tote bag is the love of my life, if you follow me on any social networking you will know that I was very lucky to receive this bag for my 18th birthday from my mum and dad. I went for the black one due to it being able to go with everything and never going out of fashion! Also the size is just perfect for me, considering I constantly have loads of folders and my laptop for college with me.

Moving away from my beautiful bag, here is what I carry around in it, nothing too exciting unfortunately…

Iphone 5c - I take this everywhere with me, it doesn’t leave my sight!

River Island purse - This pretty much has my life in it, the home to all my cards and cash (not that i ever have any money)

Keys - My keys to my car, which have a huge pom pom on them because I am forever losing them in my bag

Makeup - My two everyday go to makeup brushes from the Real Techniques collection as they help to create such a flawless base. My favourite nude lippy at the moment by Soap and Glory, which I like to pair with this Rimmel cappuccino colour lip liner. Also my favourite mascara by Estee Lauder, which never fails to lets me down,  to create those hollywood lashes.

Deodorant - Comes in handy after a good workout at the gym

Paracetamol - just incase of an emergency, you never know when your going to get a headache or something

Ipad - When I haven't got my laptop with me, I like to take my iPad with me, especially to college so I cant write notes up on it quickly

Victoria Secret body mist - This Victoria secret body mist is in the gorgeous scent peach, which I just absolutely adore!

Tangle Teezer - This tangle teezer goes everywhere with me, as I hate knotty hair!

Spectacles -  Just because I'm always working on essays or browsing through social network and online shops

Jack Wills Berry Lip Balm - This Jack Wills lip balm helps to nurse my lips back in to shape, especially in the winter!

Soap and Glory in Super Nude Lipstick Review

Soap and Glory In 'Super Nude' Lipstick Review

Nude lipsticks have been a must in every girls makeup bag this autumn/winter! I'm a huge lover for mac lipsticks but when I came across this Soap and Glory lipstick in ‘super nude’ I  just fell in love with it immediately! Unlike most matte lipsticks it glides on, leaving your lips smooth and moisturised without drying them out! It’s lightweight weight on but the pigment is superb and you don’t have to keep re-applying it like most lipsticks! The colour is a lovely warmth nude shade, which I like to apply with no7 nude lip liner just to define it that little bit extra. Also the fact that it is only £9 for such an amazing lipstick is why I love it so much too! Totally recommend it!

Estee Lauder - Mascara Review

Estee Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Lash Multiplying Volume Mascara - £22

Well where do I start about this mascara! Finding the perfect mascara is a bit like finding the right man, it can take years of trial and errors, but once discovered you should never let it go.

This mascara is hands down one of the best mascaras which I have ever used! This mascara  gives your lashes outrageous volume, lifts and curves them, whilst also making them look super bold and stand out without looking clumpy. I don't usually tend to go for expensive mascaras as there are just too many good drugstore mascaras on the market at the fraction of a price. However when I received this mascara as a gift I thought I would give it ago and hands down it beats every mascara which I have ever used! I also found that this particular mascara brush type allowed me to easily to reach the lashes in my inner corners. Also like many other mascaras you have to apply at least two or sometimes even three coats to your lashes, with this Estee Lauder mascara you only have to apply one coat, allowing it to last longer then many others! I received this mascara at christmas and have used it every day since and I am still using the exactly the same product till this day, so the £22 is definitely worth it!

Let me know what you think of this product! Or if there is any Mascara's that you highly recommend?

My Top 5 Favourite Red Lipsticks

Here our a selection of my top five red lipsticks! I think that every woman should have at least one red lipstick in their makeup bag! Red lipstick just never seems to date and gives off such a glamorous, sophisticated look!

1. Rimmel Kate Moss Wine 107
I find this colour to be quite different to other reds that I have, that's why I love it so much! This gorgeous colour is just so rich and the matte finish allows it stay on your lips all day long, whilst also leaving a beautiful, flawless matte finish. This colour is perfect for the autumn and especially if you have fair skin. Also the bargain price of £3.99 you can't go wrong!

 2. Estee Lauder Pure Colour Nectarine
I received this lipstick as a gift, which I absolutely adore! This colour lippy is more of a warm orangey red compared to the others. It has a very sorting approaching on the lips and is also long-lasting so therefore  there will be no need in keep re-applying like the majority of other lipsticks!

3. Flormar DC2
This red Flormar lipstick was one of my first red lipsticks, which I purchased over in Tenerife when visiting my Grandad and at only 3 euros I couldn't resist! It's such a beautiful gentle red, which is very long lasting as I can go hours and hours without re-applying. It's near enough all gone now so I am having to try and hold out until I go back over to Tenerife.

4. Mac Russian Red
The bold, retro looking red has a matte finish, with an intense blue undertone. I find that this lipstick goes on without any problems what so ever, as it goes on without my lips going parched. This is due to the lipstick containing natural oils which gives the lipstick a better texture, as well as allowing the lips to retain moisture.I find that that this lipstick gives off such a glamorous look and I am forever getting compliments on it!

5. Estee Lauder Carthy Red
I find this lipstick to be such a rich colour, with easy application! The texture is super light and extremely creamy, which allows the lipstick to just glide on to your lips without any trouble!

What's your favourite red lipstick? Let me know!

Mac Lipstick Review - Lovelorn

I have such a loving relationship with this lipstick! The Mac Lustre in Lovelorn is one of my favorite lippys at the moment! Yes they are expensive, but in reality, they are much cheaper than most high end lipsticks, and I'd rather buy one MAC lipstick and know that the quality is great, than two drugstore ones. It’s such a lovely, girly colour. Its a medium tone pink which helps give off a feminine approach, which I personally recommend with a neutral look as it allows the lipstick to just finish your makeup off. I find that this lipstick is a neutral, soft pink with a very moisturizing and smooth texture, I do have to re-apply it every few hours but not as much as I would with other lipsticks. I totally recommended this colour, especially for the summer as it helps lighten your face-up, also if you are used to wearing neutral colours and not so daring when it comes to more brighter, colourful lipsticks then I recommend that you try this mac lovelorn lipstick as it is still quite a soft, neutral colour, however still has some colour to it.

Whats your favourite lipstick this summer? Let me know!

Mac Russian Red Lipstick - Review

I have many red lipsticks but the Mac Russian Red is one of my favourites and has become a staple in my makeup collection! The bold, retro looking red has a matte finish, with an intense blue undertone. I find that this lipstick goes on without any problems what so ever, as it goes on without my lips going parched. This is due to the lipstick containing natural oils which gives the lipstick a better texture, as well as allowing the lips to retain moisture. However I do find by applying a lip balm before, stops my lips from looking dry and flaky after applying the lipstick. Also I would recommend using a lipliner before applying the lipstick, as I find the lipstick last longer and gives a better finish!

I find that that this lipstick gives off such a glamorous look and I am forever getting compliments on it! My favourite thing to wear this lipstick with is a simple plain, knee-lengh, black dress on a night out, as I find the boldness of the lipstick makes the outfit stand out, without trying too hard but still looking glamorous and sophisticated!

Russian Red is just one of those shades which will not date and I think that every female should have this shade or a smiler shade in their makeup collection!

You can find this lipstick on the mac website for just £15 - (click here)

Let me know what you think of this lipstick? Also what other shade of Mac lipstick would you recommend?

Real Techniques Face Brush

 Boots £9.99

I had heard many positive things about this brush, so I had very high expectations when receiving this brush but it didn’t fail to let me down!

I received this brush for christmas and I can honestly say that it is up there with my top beauty purchases! All Real Techniques brushes are colour coded, the gold coded brushes are focussed on the base of the skin. This face brush is incredible dense and soft, with a round head which makes it super easy to apply liquid foundation, achieving amazing coverage, as well as creating a flawless base on your skin. I love how dense this brush is and has yet to shed a hair on me so I expect for it to stay in shape for a long time.

This brush also allows me to buff my foundation in to my skin, like no other brush I have used before. No streaks! No foundation lines! Just an amazing finish, allowing you to keep your head held high throughout the day!

I also always find the more time you spend on the base of your makeup application then then better finish you end up with. This is definitely a must have beauty essential, which every girl should have in their makeup collection.

What do you think of this brush? let me know!!
